[D2 - EA] A Letter Delivered

Post by Giles de Braose » Wed Sep 08, 2021 9:48 pm

Sometime in the EA timeslot, a letter is slipped under the door to the room of Marie de France.

To an inspiring author,
This one regrets that time precluded the delivery of this missive earlier, for I had hoped to correspond more before my arrival at Westminster, when your time may have been more free and your schedule less impressed upon by nobles, earls and Kings.

However time marches upon us all with little regard for our feeble concerns and I shall endeavor to make the most of this fleeting opportunity afforded me. The recounting of Lanval, from the lips of one who's beauty of mind, soul and body rivals the titular character's fae patron, will be the highlight of the gathering and is an event I could not bear to miss.

I will spend each sunset until the telling of the tale in St Edward's Chapel contemplating the good fortune that befell me to have me in this place, at this time, for such an opportunity.
