As galling as it is to ask for help, learning that his design partner represented the De Clare's was a boon. And if there was an outside source to call for help, and to politick with...well, one option seemed most obvious. Llwelyn waits outside the apartments for Andre.

"Sir," Andre says, bowing as he arrives, "to what do I owe the honor of your call?"

"I am here to ask for your help in a certain matter. I have learned that you are an agent of the de Clare's" The young man tries to not show the apprehension that he feels. "And I believe that I might be able to make an offer of mutual aid for them"

"My father is a baron sworn to the de Clares, yes," Andre replies. "I would be happy to introduce you, though I'd have to know something about your proposal to do a good job of it."

He spreads his hands wide, smiling slightly. "Be at ease, sir, please."

"In short" Llwelyn clears his throat. "Which of the competitiors would they wish to have a stain on their reputation. And which bidder would they wish have their coin tied up in Northumbria?"

"That's..." Andre trails off. "Well."

He clears his throat.

"And why would you bring this to my lord de Clare, sir?" he asks. "I ask because I know he will, of course."

"Because I may wish for a favor one day." Llwelyn responds. "And they have enough holdings in my homeland that it would be wise to at least have a functioning relationship with them. Enough so that if I am to increase my own hold one day, that they will not be set to oppose me in my endeavors"

Andre nods.

"Do please come in," he says, "and forgive me that I did not ask before. Shall I have a runner see if he is available now, or shall we schedule a meeting for another day?"

Llwelyn looks at the sky. "The day already speeds along. How about tomorrow?"

"I shall make the arrangements," Andre says, his player noting that a request to the GM for a thread with the Earl will be made presently, as well as apologizing for his slow and scanty replies, "and see you on the morrow, then."

He smiles. "It will be a pleasure to work further with you."
